Intellectual Property
UQ takes very seriously the issue of intellectual property. Each PEPS placement requires a contract to be signed by the company and UQ stating that IP rights remain with the company. UQ undertakes not to publish or reproduce student work.
Students are also made aware of their responsibilites regarding IP. We consider that this is part of the learning process for the students in getting them to realise the difference between completing university assignments and working in industry.
If you have any concerns regarding intellectual property or would like to discuss your requirements in more detail please contact Kim Jensen, Community Partnerships Manager, 07 3365 1107, k.jensen@uq.edu.au
