Q Who can apply for PEPS?
A Students taking Chemical, Mechanical, Mechanical/Aerospace, Chemical/Biological Engineering courses, along with students in ITEE taking Mechatronics, Electrical and Software Engineering can apply.

Q When can I do a PEPS progam?
A PEPS programs are done during the summer semester of third year and semester one of fourth year.  This means that you have to apply during your third year.

Q Will doing a PEPS program make my degree longer?
A No, since PEPS is taken as an alternative to full-time study, and offered instead of the courses normally offered in semester one, fourth year.

Q Do I have to do university courses during PEPS?
A Yes, you will take ENGG4010 (2 units) and ENGG4011 (six units) during the PEPS program.  It is each student's responsibility to enrol for these courses.

Q Where will PEPS providers be located?

Q Will I get paid for doing PEPS?
A During the vacation period, students are paid by the company at the going rate for vacation work.  During the semester, students are awarded a scholarship.

Q Will I still have contact with the university while I am on PEPS?
A You will be nominated a university mentor who will be in frequent contact to discuss your project, as well as regular contact with the PEPS coordinator.

Q Will I get a full-time job out of it after my degree?
