Orientation Week is designed to assist you - as a new student - to settle
into University life at UQ. During Orientation Week, you can:
- Meet other students and staff
- Receive important information about your program of study
- Familiarise yourself with the Campus
Use the Orientation Event Planner to create your own personal plan for Orientation week, including:
- Compulsory sessions relating to your studies
- An ID card session
- Sessions relating to the Library, IT, and other services
- Social and cultural activities
Don’t forget to also attend Market Day on Wednesday 29 July after Orientation week, where you can join student Clubs and Societies, enjoy free entertainment, giveaways, and much more!

Create your own O-week experience. Add sessions to your personal plan. Select your program or faculty from the drop down menu below to begin.
