John Macmillan
Visiting Researcher
John is a visiting researcher to OPPE for September through to November 2004. He is a clinical (medical) geneticist with Queensland Health. His research interests include ethical and public policy issues surrounding genetic testing. At OPPE he is looking at whether there is any evidence that the current unregulated system for genetic testing in Australia has caused any adverse patient outcomes and the potential impact of proposed regulation through the TGA and other agencies.
