About the Operations Directorate

The Executive Director (Operations) is responsible for co-ordinating the management of the University's financial, physical, human, legal, management information and information technology services. 

The Executive Director (Operations) also assists the Vice-Chancellor in regard to strategic planning and direction and the framework of the University's highly successful research commercialisation and technology transfer activities.

Areas under direct management of this directorate include:

• Human Resources Division
• Legal Office
• Finance & Business Services
• Information Technology Services
• Strategic Planning and Management Information, and
• Property & Facilities
• Occupational Health and Safety
