Members of OMC's Design team and designers for the UQ Art Museum, including Melbourne designer Warren Taylor, were recently awarded various accolades from the Museums Australia Multimedia and Publication Design Awards (MAPDA) 2012.
The designers were recipients of multiple awards, including their design work on the UQ Art Museum exhibition catalogue, Safety Zone, designed by Felicia Gibson; NEWv2 exhibition catalogue designed by Felicia Gibson and Craig Oddy, and UQ Art Museum staff Brent Wilson and Gordon Craig; and New Psychedelia invitation and exhibition catalogue designed by Warren Taylor.
Design Manager, Craig Oddy said he felt honoured to be part of the University's success in the design field.
"It is a great achievement to receive this recognition and reflects the outstanding work of some of the many talented designers at UQ," he said.
The designs were competing against various art museums and galleries across Australia.
