Specialist advertising
Through the UQ Advertising Office, OMC designs, manages and books all specialist advertising for the University including helping to promote programs and courses for faculties and schools, staff recruitment and requests for clinical trial research participants. The UQ Advertising website provides essential information on specialist advertising, including cost calculators, sample ads, media kits from various publications and procedures for making bookings. Research Week launched
Research Week engages industry, staff, students and government as well as showcasing the quality of UQ research. The week included the announcement of the UQ Foundation Research Excellence Awards 2011, the Three Minute Thesis Competition and the official launch of the UQ Career Advantage Model. Discovery@UQ was also published. The development of a new UQ Career Advantage digital microsite and the filming and editing of 14 x 60 second award winner videos were significant projects undertaken by OMC as part of its commitment to Research Week.
