OMC update
As you may know, OMC has established a new publications team. The team is looking after UQ News, UQ Contact, UQ Update, the Annual Report, Discovery at UQ, Learning at UQ, The Network, UQ Experts and the UQ Guides. To contact the publications team please email publications@uq.edu.au
In March, OMC will be moving to Long Pocket while the office on Level 7 is refurbished. During the relocation, we will have access to hot desks at St Lucia for on-campus commitments. It is expected we will return to the campus in the second half of the year.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new OMC website. After a much needed facelift, the new OMC website is more user friendly and provides more information, tools and resources for the M&C network. EAIT video competition
In 2011, The Faculty of EAIT launched a new student marketing and engagement initiative with the introduction of a Student Video Competition. Students were asked to create a short video to provide prospective students with a sense of what it's like to be a student at UQ and why it's a great place to study. The competition harnessed the skills of EAIT students and established a pool of authentic videos, which can be used for marketing purposes. The team is hoping that the quantity and quality of entries will grow over the years along with the popularity of the competition. For information about how the competition was run, contact Charlotte Camerer. Watch the videos here.
