OMC Work Plan 2012
This week the draft OMC Work Plan for 2012 was sent out to all members of the network for their information and feedback. The Plan outlines OMC’s business-as-usual activities for next year, as well as some new initiatives.
Graham Bethune, Director of OMC, says the plan is as much about communicating the role and work of OMC to the broader network, as it is about providing a useful planning tool for OMC staff.

Highlights from the Inaugural UQ Marketing and Communications Network Conference
The recent UQ Marketing and Communications Network Conference was centered on the theme Common Goals, Common Ground, Common Destination. The event itself was an opportunity for UQ marketing and communications staff to meet colleagues, welcome our new advertising agency Clemenger BBDO and discuss the changing media landscape with guest speakers from Australia and overseas.
Although the survey results from those who attended the conference are yet to be finalised, there has been a lot of positive feedback within the network.
We are looking forward to the next UQ Marketing and Communications Network Conference in 2012 and want to hear from you for ideas and suggestions to ensure the event is one not to be missed.
