Ann Johnstone has joined the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) as an Engagement Officer within the Innovation and Commercial Development team. Ann previously worked at  Esri Australia, managing a range of stakeholder communications projects and holds a Master of International Studies. Jenny Johnston has joined the ISSR Engagement (Innovation and Commercial Development) Team as Project Officer.  Jenny previously worked at the UQ Centre for Clinical Research in a communications role. She brings twenty years of experience from diverse industry sectors – health research, education, community not-for-profits, consumer goods, technology and international diplomacy. Bernadette O’Connor has joined the Faculty of Medicine as Communications Officer covering a 12-Month maternity leave contract. Bernadette comes to UQ with a background in publicity and has spent the last three years working in the recruitment and travel industry covering events and providing media liaison, blogging, and internal communications services. Bernadette has a double degree in Journalism and Business (Marketing) from QUT and is currently completing her Masters in Human Rights with Curtin University.
