Ann Johnstone has joined the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) as an Engagement Officer within the Innovation and Commercial Development team. Ann previously worked at  Esri Australia, managing a range of stakeholder communications projects and holds a Master of International Studies. She has extensive engagement experience for government initiatives, including the G20 Leaders Summit for the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Contact Ann at or on ext. 31031.

Jenny Johnston has joined the ISSR Engagement (Innovation and Commercial Development) Team as Project Officer.  Jenny previously worked at the UQ Centre for Clinical Research in a communications role. She brings twenty years of experience from diverse industry sectors – health research, education, community not-for-profits, consumer goods, technology and international diplomacy. Bernadette O’Connor has joined the Faculty of Medicine as Communications Officer covering a 12-Month maternity leave contract. Bernadette comes to UQ with a background in publicity and has spent the last three years working in the recruitment and travel industry covering events and providing media liaison, blogging, and internal communications services. Bernadette has a double degree in Journalism and Business (Marketing) from QUT and is currently completing her Masters in Human Rights with Curtin University. Contact Bernadette at or on ext. 55118.
