Teresa Winch is joining the Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC) as a Fixed Term Protocol Officer. She has been with Customs House as an Events Coordinator since 2009, and prior to that had event planning and management roles with the Southbank Institute of Technology, and the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Teresa has a Bachelor of Administration (Tourism) from James Cook University, and is currently studying a Master of Business (Marketing) at UQ. Contact Teresa at t.winch@uq.edu.au.

Sarah Armour is also joining OMC as a Fixed Term Protocol Officer. She has 10 years of experience with the Penrith City Council in various event roles – Events Administration and Support Officer, Events Officer, Senior Events Officer and, most recently, Events Development Officer. Sarah has a range of qualifications, including a Diploma in Business majoring in Marketing, and she is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Event Management. Abbie De Sousa has been announced as Executive Assistant in OMC. She has previously held a number of roles at UQ, including Client Services Officer with UQ Connect, Assistant Manager with Voice Ops and University Networks Coordinator. Most recently she has worked in OMC, filling in on Reception and providing admin support to three working groups established under the broader Culture Survey project.
