Jacqui Belesky has joined the Office of Marketing and Communications as Publications Editor for 12 months, to cover Stacey King's maternity leave. Her most recent role was managing internal communications for Hastings Deering, and she has also worked with the Queensland Government, John Wiley and Sons, and News Ltd. Jacki Boyce has joined the Global Change Institute as the Communications Officer. Jacki has worked in communications at the Australian Marine Conservation Society for six years, and is currently finishing a Masters of Conservation Biology at UQ. Contact Jacki at j.boyce@uq.edu.au or on ext. 33110.

Andrew Harvey has joined UniQuest as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator. He has previously worked for MiniMovers as the Communications Coordinator and the former Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries as an Event Coordinator. Emma Lee recently commenced in the role of Communications Officer at the School of Population Health. Emma has a background in Advancement and Communications and can be contacted at e.lee4@uq.edu.au or on ext. 55358.

Gemma Ward will commence in the position of Communications Manager at the Institute for Molecular Biology (IMB) from Monday 30 June, while Bronwyn Adams is on 12 months' maternity leave. Many of you will know Gemma already as she has spent two years at IMB as Publications Editor. Before starting at IMB, Gemma worked at Cancer Council Queensland and at a PR firm. Michelle James will be replacing Gemma as IMB’s Publications and Communications Officer, and will start on Monday 23 June. Michelle has previously worked at Brisbane Girls Grammar School, the Queensland Government, Queensland Art Gallery and Channel 9.
