About
The Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC) provides leadership and expertise in strategic marketing, brand and reputation management to position The University of Queensland (UQ) locally, nationally and internationally, as a world-class, research-intensive university, aligned to UQ’s strategic objectives in learning, discovery and engagement.
Organisational Context
OMC is part of the Operations Directorate reporting to UQ's Chief Operating Officer. The day-to-day operations are managed by a Director who is supported by an experienced team of professional and technical staff. Governance and strategic direction is provided by the OMC Steering Committee which was formed in 2010.
Our team advises on best practice marketing and communication, in partnership with faculties, schools, centres and institutes, to enhance the University’s reputation and to actively engage the wider University community.
