The Marketing team within the Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC) oversees the University's corporate marketing strategy.

Key areas of responsibility for the Marketing team are:

  • Developing an annual, integrated marketing communication plan for the University, in line with the University's Strategic Plan and priorities;
  • Managing the UQ corporate advertising campaign;
  • Providing advice and support for marketing strategy development and planning for University units;
  • Assisting with the coordination of unit events and activities;
  • Providing a comprehensive advertising service to all UQ units;
  • Overseeing the application of UQ branding elements to University marketing activities;
  • Facilitating University-wide marketing activities and projects;
  • Coordinating advertising and promotion for major UQ events and initiatives; and
  • Providing a range of corporate materials and products to support unit marketing activities.
