 Ergonomics

The Occupational Health & Safety Unit through the Ergonomics & Rehabilitation Adviser, offers ergonomics programs for the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries that arise during the course of work or that are affected by work.

Ergonomics intervention is relevant for all manual tasks including operation of screen based equipment/computers, office workstations, laboratory tasks, trades occupations, and stores/warehouse tasks.  Early referral to the Ergonomics & Rehabilitation Adviser is essential for better outcomes.
