Research project – measurement of changes in OH&S performance

Kris Fraser, Ergonomics & Rehabilitation Adviser, is conducting a research project which examines changes in OHS performance indicators that have coincided with changes in OHS management systems.  She recently presented a conference paper, "Earlier Intervention, Other Healthy Measures & the Impact on a Self-Insured Organisation".

The paper is based on case study research which examines the effect of improving the structure of occupational health and safety (OHS) management systems on OHS performance indicators within a self-insuring organisation (UQ).

The OHS performance indicators used to examine the impact of changes to the OHS Management Systems are both positive and outcome based and are detailed in the paper (linked here).
