Notes: 1. This Table of results is not quite final as there seem to be some late assignments and finals to be handed in.  2. The assignments were a little disappointing on the whole, with many being dashed off in the last few days without key references that could have been obtained from me.  There seemed also to be a bit of leaning on one another, based upon the shared, egregious errors when the same topic was chosen more than once. 3. Everyone seemed to do better on the repeat questions in the final, but few got to the nitty gritty of the bathypelagic question in a way that it would be clear to the non-specialist. Only 1 person explained the autostereogram clearly enough to earn full marks. This answer was also quite short. 4. I'll be available to discuss individual results when I return Nov 18.     Jack
