In the near future the NTRC has plans to:
• Publish a third annual report based on aggregate trauma data (ISS > 15) from all Australian and New Zealand trauma registries.
• Seek approval for access to de-identified primary level data from all existing registries to form the basis of the bi-national trauma registry.
• Secure long-term funding for the establishment and maintenance of the bi-national trauma registry.
• Promote and encourage collaborative research through the NTRC Research Collaboration.
• Establish a bi-national minimum data set and accompanying data dictionary to form the basis of the bi-national trauma registry
