Be a Sensational Sunflower School in 2010!

The University of Queensland is again hosting its Sunflower Competition in 2010.

Open to school students in Year 8 to 12 within Queensland and Northern NSW, the competition is designed to encourage the budding agriculturalists of the future.

With the sunflower seeds, some simple steps and expert information provided, this competition will make for some fun in your class! This is a great way for your students to learn about the science of growing plants and to have fun at the same time!

What’s more, the whole class can come to UQ Gatton on the day of the Weigh-In. Meet University academics and industry representatives involved in Australia’s Sunflower Industry and go in the running for some great prizes!
