What is FEAST?
FEAST is a four-day residential school for Year 11 and 12 students at the University of Queensland's (UQ) Gatton Campus.
Entree - Agribusiness
Ever wondered what university life will really be like? Come to FEAST! Experience uni first-hand, sample the courses that NRAVS has on offer, check out the campuses and become familiar with life at UQ.
FEAST is a great opportunity for you to try out the academic, social and sporting aspects available to you as a prospective UQ student. Immerse yourself in uni life with other FEAST students, meet UQ students and lecturers and have heaps of fun along the way!
Main Meal - Career Options
There is a fairly common misconception that there are limited job opportunities in the agricultural sector – well, this couldn’t be further from the truth! Take the opportunity while you are at FEAST to discover the endless and exciting career options available in agribusiness, agriculture, business, animals and veterinary science, food and environmental industries.
Not only will you get to visit some production facilities you will also get to tour the departments which teach the future leaders of these exciting industries and get some first hand experience in
university life – what it is like to study and live on Campus at UQ – putting you way ahead of the game when it comes to making the transition from school to university.
Dessert - The Social and Sporting Program
Just when you think the fun and festivities are over for the day, enter the specialist UQ Gatton Halls of Residence sports and social team. These guys are experts in having a good time (and have spent a little bit of time at Uni trying to perfect the art!) and will take you on a journey of sportsmanship, social activity and just general good fun.
