What is Animal Production?
Animal Production is a specialised animal science that combines some aspects of business management. The study of Animal Production involves gaining an understanding of the physiological elements underlying the commercial production of beef and dairy cattle, poultry, pig, sheep and goats.

Graduates find employment in agricultural production; agribusiness firms in technical research, extension, sales and management; and as technicians in government departments.
