Next Generation Students: what spaces do they need?

New methods of student learning have been the catalyst for the UQ Library in adapting to user requirements. This paper will discuss how the library as a learning space has adapted from the traditional structure of a repository for research material. Attention will be drawn to the differing usage of library space across campuses and the ways in which this changes as the semester progresses. How technology and space interact in the library, and the role of the library in supporting next generation learning spaces at UQ are both key discussion points of this paper.
