Mr Chris Barnes

Chris is the Multimedia Systems Coordinator at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University. Chris is responsible for the operation of all teaching spaces at the Parkville campus of the university. He is involved in the strategic planning for the innovative use of multimedia applications in undergraduate teaching.

Chris led the implementation of Lectopia across all of the faculty’s teaching spaces; this was a significant achievement as the faculty was the first of Monash’s ten faculties to use this innovation. Recent work has included the design and implementation of the faculty’s two virtual practice environments as well as the use of Second Life, which has teaching applications in the Bachelor of Pharmacy and the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
