Closing Note

The NGLS 2008 Colloquium closed with a lively interactive session that stimulated plenty of ideas and comments.  Discussions continued on the balcony over drinks while watching the sunset.

Over the two days of the Colloquium, delegates enjoyed tours and presentations that focussed on the development, management, and evaluation of new learning spaces.

The Colloquium Dinner at Customs House was a great success.  Professor Michael Keniger gave a wonderful presentation on architecture as an end point in itself, but also as a public space and how people interact with and react to architecture.

We would like to extend our thanks to all the delegates for their participation in the open floor session and also for providing feedback during the many presentations.  Presentations have been posted on the website as links from the abstract pages.   Thanks also are well-deserved for Sally Brown and her team from Conference Connections who contributed greatly to the smooth delivery of the Colloquium.

We look forward to your continuing support for developing learning spaces in higher education.
