The University of Queensland will host more than 250 athletes from across South East Queensland at the annual UQ Sport 1500m Classic tomorrow night - kicking off the summer track and field season.

UQ is set to welcome a large contingent of 2016 Rio Olympians home. The last of the group, comprising students, Scholarship recipients and UQ Sport Club members, completed their events over the weekend.
