Budding pharmacists will get a taste of what it's like to study pharmacy at The University of Queensland's Pharmacy Open Day this Sunday.

The itinerary for the day includes a tour of the cutting edge Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence facility (PACE), hands-on practical experience in the labs, interactive forum with students and a question and answer session with staff.

Head of the School of Pharmacy, Nick Shaw said the Open Day was an ideal event for students and their families to find out more about study and career options in pharmacy.

There will be a sausage sizzle on the day where visitors can network with other interested students, their families, academics and current students.

Free parking is available at PACE on Open Day and there are also regular bus, train and CityCat services. For transport information, visit www.translink.com.au.
