You need a student ID card for identification on campus, library borrowing, attendance at some classes and to gain entry to examination rooms.

Current UQ students who already have a student ID card continue to use this card.
 

New students for Summer Semester can obtain a card one working day after enrolling (ie by adding at least one course)  via mySI-net. Please take photo identification to:

• The Unicard service desk on level 2, Social Sciences and Humanities Library (Duhig - Building 2 [See map]) at St Lucia, or 
• The Student Centre at the UQ Ipswich campus (Building 8 [See map]), or
• The NW Britton Administration Centre Annex (Building 8101A [See map]) at the UQ Gatton campus.
