- Apply for your international student visa
- Book your flight to Australia – plan to arrive at least 3 weeks before the first day of classes - see UQ's Important dates.
- Investigate your accommodation options online
- Book airport reception and temporary accommodation online
- Register for an Academic Preparation Program (APP) online
- Arrive in Australia (See 'On arrival'). You will be picked up at the airport and driven to your short term accommodation (unless you have made other arrangements)
- Phone home!
- Sleep and relax for at least 24 hours.
