Postgraduate students are represented by the Education & Postgraduate Advocate as part of Student Help on Campus, administering the UQ Union's postgraduate area, providing advice, advocacy and proofreading services, as well as organising social events.
- Student Services
Learning Advisors within Student Services hold a variety of workshops and seminars on writing skills including the preparation and writing of theses and literature reviews.
- Postgraduate Meeting Place website
The Postgraduate Meeting Place website is designed to provide information and support for Indigenous Australian postgraduate students.
For research higher degree students - The UQ Graduate School
- The UQ Graduate School was established to cater specifically to the needs of research higher degrees students, undertaking:
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
and - Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degrees.

- The Graduate School website provides information about a variety of topics relevant to research higher degree students, including candidature, scholarships and thesis examination. In addition, there are links to relevant online forms and documents.
