• Misconduct includes behaviour which impairs others' pursuit of University activities, hinders the pursuit of academic excellence (for example, cheating) or the improper use of University facilities.
  
• Included in the Statute are the procedures for investigating and assessing possible cases of misconduct, the jurisdiction and penalty powers of decision-makers and the consequent penalties for proven misconduct.
