 ID card sessions - (For Orientation only)


All students require photographic identification (for example, driver's licence or passport) to obtain an ID card.

St Lucia Campus
ID Cards can be produced one day after you have enrolled via mySI-net.  If you were admitted through QTAC, bring your UQ Welcome letter with you. All students must bring photo ID (passport or driver’s licence).  You will be required to sign your card on production.

  • Mon 11 Feb to Sat 23 Feb 
    Mon to Thu 8:00am - 7:00pm  or
    Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm or
    Sat 9:00am - 2:00pm

  • During Semester (Mon 25 Feb onwards):

Ipswich Campus

Gatton Campus
ID cards can be produced one day after you have enrolled via mySI-net. If you were admitted through QTAC, bring your UQ Welcome letter with you. All students must bring photo ID (passport or driver’s licence).  You will be required to sign your card on production.

NOTE: Student ID cards are now mandatory for all students at Gatton, including those studying through distance education. They are specially required for exams, Library borrowing and Transport Concession Cards, if eligible.

Herston

  • If you require an ID card please contact the School of Medicine office to book an appointment (phone 3365-5278). On the day of your appointment, staff from the office will advise where the session will be held.
  • Time: 2:00-3:00pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
  • Cards will be returned to the relevant school office for collection and should be available within three working days. Urgent ID card production is available at the St Lucia Campus.
