The majority of applications for domestic undergraduate places at The University of Queensland are made through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC). QTAC operates a year-round admissions process, allowing applicants to apply for programs commencing in Semester 1 and Semester 2 on a single application. There are several QTAC offer rounds for each semester intake.
- Semester 1 Admissions
There are three main QTAC offer rounds:
- December offer round
The main offer round for the Bachelor of Music and Graduate Diplomas in Education. Also includes a small number of offers for most programs.
- Bachelor of Music
- Bachelor of Social Work(Graduate Entry)
- January offer round
The vast majority of offers for semester 1 admissions are made in this offer round.
- February offer round
This is also referred to as a top-up round, and may not include offers for all programs, especially the most competitive programs.
- December offer round
- Semester 2 Admissions
Offers for UQ programs are generally made in the June QTAC offer rounds.
In addition to the offer round information outlined above, QTAC may accept late applications for any remaining program vacancies. Please visit the QTAC website for further information on this process.
Applicants who are made an offer in the above QTAC offer rounds can access information on their offer and submit an offer response through the Current Applicant online service on the QTAC website.
