 Health advice

The University Health Service (UHS) provides medical assistance to all students. Areas of special expertise include travel medicine, sports injuries, occupational medicine, women's health, men's health, sexual health, mental health and minor surgical procedures.

Counselling is available for issues of particular concern to students (stress, examinations, contraception).

Continuing care following injuries or surgical procedures is available as is treatment for chronic or recurring problems such as asthma, diabetes or epilepsy. If you have chronic health problems, you are encouraged to notify the UHS of your condition and the required treatment in the event urgent medical attention is ever needed.

Doctors' appointments can be arranged to suit your lecture timetables.
