| What to do if you have an examination timetable clash | |
Central examinations are held in designated examination periods usually during June in first semester, November in second semester, and February in summer semester.
You will find the dates for the examination periods in the academic calendar and also in the Important dates page on the Enrolment website.
Where to find the examination timetable
- Timetables are displayed at student centres, and online in my.UQ and mySI-net.
- The summer semester timetable is available in late January.
- The dates for first and second semester deferred and supplementary examinations periods are published on my.UQ and my.SI-net. If you have been granted a deferred or supplementary examination, you are expected to be available to sit your examination/s on any day or days of the specified period. Timetables will be published several days prior to the commencement of the supplementary/deferred examination period and may be accessed through my.UQ and my.SI-net.
- For semester 1 and 2, end of semester examinations, the final timetable is published approximately 4 weeks prior to the start of the examination period.
- Timetable details will not be given over the telephone.
- It is your responsibility to ensure you correctly note examination details and you arrive at the correct room at the correct time.
Please note: Misreading the timetable is NOT an approved reason for applying for a deferred examination.
