- Appeals to the Senate Student Appeals Committee are only possible when you have explored and exhausted all avenues within your school and faculty.
- The Senate Student Appeals Committee deals with matters referred to it by Senate and determines appeals to Senate about:
- action taken with regard to academic standing under the Enrolment and Academic Progression Rules
- Assessment Matters
- decisions of an Executive Dean or nominees directly affecting the student appealing
- entry to a program not governed by the Admission Rules
- decisions of the Dean, Graduate School or nominee relating to the administration of research higher degrees (MPhil, PhD)
- decisions of the President of the Academic Board relating to changes to finalised results
