Associate Professor Patricia Pollett

BMus Adel, ARCM (violin, viola)

Recognised as one of the finest string teachers in Australia and an active recitalist and soloist in concerts and broadcasts Australia wide. Formerly violist in the much recorded Italian string ensemble I Solisti Veneti. Graduated from the University of Adelaide and winner of numerous awards, including a Churchill Fellowship, Patricia has studied with major international pedagogues including Peter Schidlof and Bruno Giuranna. Lectures in violin and viola. Research interests include Australian music for viola and Ensemble music of twentieth Century works. Formerly a member of Perihelion.
