MBRS has numerous rooms suitable for conference, workshop and retreat activities, all with wireless internet connections and audio visual equipment.

This adaptable space can be separated into two rooms with seminar seating at the front and a space for large tables with chairs at the back. The seminar space can seat 75 and is equipped with modern audio-visual equipment including data projector and screen, CD/DVD/Video and amplifier with surround sound, white- boards, computer with high speed internet access and and a lectern with microphone. Video-conferencing unit, overhead transparency, slide projector and poster boards are also available upon request.

The table space at the back includes large tables with power points and is useful as break-out meeting space. Use of the room is flexible, with the option of removing the tables to provide a larger seminar space that can comfortably accommodate 150 people.

Teaching Laboratory

The upstairs teaching lab can accommodate 60 people around tables which can be configured according to your needs. Audio-visual equipment, computer, WiFi access, white boards, lecterns, a video-conferencing unit, overhead transparency, slide projector and poster boards are all available upon request.

Library/Computer Room

 
 
This multifunctional room contains modern computers, high speed internet (microwave link) and WiFi, networked printer and scanner, data projector and screen and a whiteboard for meetings. It also houses the Stradbroke Island Collection, a subsidiary library of The University of Queensland.

Research Kitchen, Lounge, Porch

The upstairs researcher kitchen and lounge with the adjacent screened porch look out on the water and may be available as additional meeting, display or socialising space.
