The Koala Research Network represents a large group of leading koala researchers who have worked together informally for koala conservation for many years, through meetings, workshops, collaborative projects, co-authorships and serving on government committees.

The Koala Research Network recognises the need to better integrate information and knowledge on koala biology, ecology, physiology and conservation planning to ensure the long term survival of this iconic species. Its membership consists of researchers from a range of disciplines that incorporate all aspects of koala research such as disease, genetics, ecology, landscape ecology, climate change and population viability.

Statement of Intent:
We are a group of leading koala researchers, concerned for the future of this species. We aim to promote positive outcomes for koalas through scientific research, collaboration, the dissemination of information, and informing policy.
