The University of Queensland Ipswich Campus proudly sponsors the Ipswich Festival Unmasked Project where students from 19 local high schools will compete by thematically decorating a 2m high mask addressing the theme: Ipswich, Becoming Australia’s Healthiest City. All masks will be centrally displayed in d’Arcy Doyle place (the main festival hub) for the duration of the festival with the

UQ IPSWICH AMBASSADORS AFTERNOON TEA

The Ipswich Campus is pleased to host the UQI Ambassadors Afternoon Tea, as part of the UQ Ipswich Ambassador Program which is designed to develop partnerships with secondary schools in the Education Queensland Moreton Boundary and assist senior students with their transition to tertiary education.This event provides an opportunity for the UQ Ipswich Ambassadors and their Senior School Co-ordinators to familiarise themselves with the Ipswich Campus and the programs and services on offer.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND PRIZES AWARD CEREMONY

The annual Scholarships & Prizes award ceremony will be held on campus on Tuesday 19th May 2009. With over $50,000 of funding available to Ipswich Campus students, this ceremony awards meritorious students scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 to assist with their studies. This event provides both an opportunity to thank the generous donors of the Ipswich Campus scholarships and a chance for the successful applicants to celebrate their achievements.

GUIDANCE OFFICERS' & CAREERS COUNSELLORS' DAY

The annual Guidance Officers' & Careers Counsellors' Day provides an opportunity for all Guidance Officers and Careers' Counsellors to learn about the programs offered, as well as receive up-to-date information on changes to programs and/or new programs available on Campus. Information about programs and initiatives available at UQ Ipswich will be covered at the St Lucia conference. Free transport to UQ St Lucia will be provided from the UQ Ipswich campus on request. Tours of the Ipswich campus will also be available upon return to the campus. Please contact the
