THE UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND FESTIVAL CLUB SERIES
23, 24 & 25 April
The University of Queensland Ipswich Campus proudly sponsors the Ipswich Festival Club Series event held over three nights of the Ipswich Festival at d'Arcy Doyle Place. The Festival Club Series comprises 3 nights of emerging young artists showcasing their talents through contempoary country music on the Wednesday, Women in Voice on the Thursday and a mix of live bands, dancers, wearable art and video productions on the Friday evening.

UQ IPSWICH AMBASSADORS AFTERNOON TEA

The Ipswich Campus is pleased to host the UQI Ambassadors Afternoon Tea, as part of the UQ Ipswich Ambassador Program which is designed to develop partnerships with secondary schools in the Education Queensland Moreton Boundary and assist senior students with their transition to tertiary education.This event provides an opportunity for the UQ Ipswich Ambassadors and their Senior School Co-ordinators to familiarise themselves with the Ipswich Campus and the programs and services on offer.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND PRIZES AWARD CEREMONY
21 May
The annual Scholarships & Prizes award ceremony will be held on campus on Wednesday 21st May 2008. With over $35,000 of funding available to Ipswich Campus students, this ceremony awards meritorious students scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 to assist with their studies. This event provides both an opportunity to thank the generous donors of the Ipswich Campus scholarships and a chance for the successful applicants to celebrate their achievements.
JUNE
GUIDANCE OFFICERS' & CAREERS COUNSELLORS' DAY
13 June
The annual Guidance Officers' & Careers Counsellors' Day provides an opportunity for all Guidance Officers and Careers' Counsellors to visit the Ipswich Campus and learn about the programs offered, as well as receive up-to-date information on changes to programs and/or new programs available on Campus. The day includes general and faculty presentations, lunch and a campus tour.
