The University of Queensland Ipswich Campus takes pride in providing a world-class education facility with strong community links. An integral part of these links has been in gaining local community and UQ support and sponsorship for "community space" on the Campus.

The Boilerhouse facility was refurbished by the University in 2006 with support from Ipswich City Council, Wingate Properties and Bendigo Bank. It now houses the UQ Boilerhouse Community Engagement Centre. The refurbishment also included designated space to be used for community groups to come together to meet and engage in a variety of community activities on the Campus.

The Boilerhouse now houses the UQ Community Engagement Team

Venue Location

UQ Boilerhouse is in Building 22 on the Ipswich Campus of the University of Queensland. It is located at the start of Village Lane in the middle of the Campus.
