The campus is easily accessible by all modes of transport. Ample car parking, a taxi rank and taxi phone are available.

Bus
An express intercampus bus service connects the St Lucia, Gatton and Ipswich campuses Monday to Friday four times a day during semester. Cost is $3.50 one way and tickets can be purchased through the Student Centre.

Westside Bus Company provides a local service which includes a stop at UQ Ipswich. The timetable for this service can be downloaded here. 

Co-ordinated bus and train timetables plus integrated bus/rail ticketing make travel by public transport easy. Buses meet trains arriving at Ipswich station every half-hour and take passengers to a bus shelter located in the heart of the campus.

Train and bus timetables for travel to the Ipswich campus are coordinated. Passengers are to purchase combined train/bus tickets from either Queensland Rail or buses of the Westside Bus Company which has a bus stop on campus.

Bicycle
The UQ Ipswich campus is just 1.5 km from the Ipswich Central Business District, so it is an easy ride on roads which were recently improved to increase cycling safety and convenience. You can leave your bicycle in a locker at the train station overnight and there are secure bicycle parking facilities on campus.
