Peter John Akroyd Memorial Prize

in the Bachelor of Nursing

(Established in 2000 and maintained by an annual gift from Jan Akroyd Bailey in memory of her son Peter John Akroyd)

The recipient(s), selected by the Head of Nursing and Midwifery, UQ Ipswich, will be:

·       Full-time students who have completed the second full-time year in the Bachelor of Nursing and enrolled in the third full-time year of Nursing in the year of the award at The University of Queensland Ipswich Campus.

·       Highest GPA (grade point average) at the end of the second year of full-time study in the Bachelor of Nursing in the year preceding the award at The University of Queensland Ipswich Campus.

In the situation where more than one student achieves the highest result, clinical performance reports will be used to determine the successful applicant.
