The University of Queensland also offers a number of scholarship opportunities to full-time, undergraduate Commonwealth Supported (HECS-liable) students. These scholarships include:

• the federally funded Commonwealth Learning Scholarships (CLS), comprising:
  • Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarships (CECS), and
  • Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarships (CAS)
• the UQ Excellence Scholarships,
• the Group of Eight (Go8) and
• UQ-Link Residential Support Scholarships.

The scholarships provide financial assistance for students experiencing financial hardship and are intended to help alleviate some of the costs of university attendance.

Any or all of the above scholarships can be applied for on the one UG Scholarships at UQ Application Form, by indicating your preference. Applications for these scholarships are now open and close 14 February 2007. For more information about these scholarships, email ugscholarships@uq.edu.au
