• Unable to sign in?
  · Passwords are case sensitive, ensure ‘CAPS LOCK’ is not on
  · Ensure there are no spaces in front of your username or
    password
  · Your password must be between 8 and 10 characters long
  · If you are new to Ipswich campus you may need to change your
    password eg. St Lucia staff. See below.
  
  
  
• How to setup email
  It is recommened that you use https://my.uq.edu.au/  to access your emails. If you choose to use an email program the setup guides are avaliable on UQconnect Students Page.
  
  
  
• How to access your Home drive (H: drive) from home
  All students have a 500MB Home(H:) drive that can be accessed from both home and university. You can map the H drive to your computer, which is useful for regular use.
  
  
  
• How to change your password
  There are 2 ways to reset your password. 
  1. Log into my.uq.edu.au. Click on the 'Personalise' tab along the top. Then select the 'myDetails' link.
  2. UQconnect can also reset your password
  
  If you don't know you're current username or password contact the HelpDesk to have your password reset.
  
  
  
• How to connect to Ipswich Campus Wireless. 
  If you would like to use the wireless on campus you have two options - UQconnect or Eduroam (details below). 
  
  
  
• How to change your wireless settings to use Eduroam. 
  EduRoam is a wireless service that allows UQ staff and students to use wireless networks at cooperating universities in Australia and around the world using their UQ-SignIn to gain access to resources such as email, the Internet and network shares at UQ (VPN required).   Student email addresses can be redirected, whitst the account is active, by logging into my.uq.edu.au. Click on the 'Personalise' tab along the top. Then select the 'myMail' link.
