    Bachelor of Electronic Commerce
Gloria McGreevy and James Johnson were the only two graduates employed recently by Ernst and Young's eRisk Unit. They assist Ernst and Young clients who trade online by assessing their risks of exposure in terms of security and privacy, and advising on dealings with customers and suppliers throughout their Web services. The pair is among the first Bachelor of Electronic Commerce graduates from UQ Ipswich.

    Bachelor of Information Environments
Garth Lake is a Technical Support Officer with Queensland Main Roads Department, where he is involved in IT support and network administration. His interest in IT extends to his leisure time, when he takes on contract website development and design projects.

    Bachelor of Contemporary Studies
A self-confessed Grade 10 dropout who'd had little encouragement at school, Joanne Sawyer went back to study as a single mother of children aged 14 and six. She earned an OP5 at TAFE, enrolled at UQ Ipswich and graduated in 2001 with majors in media and communications, ethics and philosophy — and a GPA of 6.3. Now she teaches at TAFE, helping others take a "second shot" at education.
