First in the family

If you are one of the first generation in your family to study at university, you may not have ready access at home to information and advice about coping with university study. Or you may be wondering if university study is really for you.

At Student Services you can get help and advice. They can also give you the First in the Family booklet which discusses common anxieties about university study and offers advice on making a successful transition to university.
