Community Access

UQ Ipswich is committed to fostering strong relationships with the people living and working around it. These personal, professional and civic relationships are enhanced through various partnerships, sponsorships and activities between the UQ Ipswich Campus and business, government, industry and civic representatives.

The local community is invited to access many of the facilities and services on offer at UQ Ipswich Campus, including venue hire, UQ Ipswich library, and fitness facilities.

The opening of the UQ Health Care clinic on the Ipswich Campus is another significant benefit to the local community, improving access to quality health care and taking pressure off local hospitals. The clinic funded federally through the GP Super Clinic Scheme, provides services from general practitioners, nurses, psychologists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, dieticians and diabetes education. This adds to the list of clinics open to the public on campus.
