About UQ Ipswich
The University of Queensland’s Ipswich Campus provides a high quality teaching and learning environment in a supportive, friendly campus community.
Established in 1999 on a heritage site in central Ipswich, the Campus offers teaching and research programs in Arts, Health Science, Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, and Paramedic Science. UQ Ipswich has a particular focus on teaching, research and clinical activity in the Health Sciences. A suite of clinics on campus support the health needs of the Ipswich public and bring to light UQ’s focus on community and vocational training in Health Science.
Ipswich Campus also hosts UQ’s provider of alternative pathways into tertiary studies: UQ College. This innovative College focuses on increasing the accessibility of higher level educational achievements. The creative pathways into higher education on offer for school leavers and adult learners include academic preparation programs and career boosting qualifications.
Unique infrastructure on campus includes a rainforest inside the library making Ipswich Campus a peaceful and stimulating place to work and study.
