Awarded to a Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Business Communication student based on leadership qualities and overall academic performance during the degree program.
1. The bursary is awarded for the purpose of assisting a meritorious student in their final year of study in 2009 in the Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Business Communication at UQ Ipswich.
2. The bursary is awarded to the applicant showing the greatest merit, as demonstrated by academic achievement during the degree program, personal qualities, including leadership potential and presentation skills, and such other evidence as may seem relevant to the professional success of the candidate.
3. To assist in the selection process the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Academic will convene a selection committee whose membership will include a representative from the Edwards family. Short listed applicants will be asked to attend an interview.
4. The bursary of $1500 will be awarded yearly.

Students should submit a letter of application, along with any other supporting documentation such as a curriculum vitae, academic results (does not need to be official transcript), evidence of leadership potential, details of any community involvement, career aspirations and other noteworthy information which would support the application.
