How to apply

Students can apply to UQ through one of UQ’s authorised international education representatives or directly to the University using a hard-copy application form.

Applying to study at UQ varies depending on whether you are:

An international person not currently studying year 12 in Australia applying to:

an undergraduate program
a dual degree program
a postgraduate coursework program
a research higher degree program
study abroad at UQ for one or two semesters
come to UQ on student exchange

An international year 12 student currently studying in Australia applying to study:

Recommended Application deadlines

It is strongly recommended that students applying to undergraduate and postgraduate programs submit their applications no later than:

	Semester 1	Semester 2
Category 1 and 2 countries	November 15 of the previous year	May 15 of the same year
Category 3 and 4 countries	October 15 of the previous year	April 15 of the same year
